But then, I had to undergo an emergency C-section, which complicated things. Life as a new mother, caring for a baby 24 hours a days exciting but very difficult. Srividya coached me everyday and would make tweaks to my meals and incorporate one healthy habit at a time. She also coached me to overcome my binge eating habits by teaching me to discern physical hunger from emotional hunger and helped manage my cravings effectively. Just weeks into the program, my body was transforming and a little over 3 months later, I have lost of total of 10.5 kgs and now am at my pre-pregnancy weight of 68kgs. "Its been 6 weeks since I have been working closely with Srividya on the meal plan. Below is my feedback:
a) I found a huge reduction in gastric discomfort, irritable bowel movements and improved digestion a few weeks after I adopted the elimination diet program. After a month, my GI distress has reduced by almost 90%.
b) Its been a huge blessing for me since I am comfortable to go out and socialize with people. Also, I feel fresh and energetic throughout the day.
c) The Track 2 transform tool is very useful in tracking the food consumed every day, identifying the cause of any reaction to the GI distress. I have become so disciplined in updating the tracking tool without which I cannot end the day. This helped me a lot in reducing my GI distress.
d) This meal plan made me control added sugars, deep fried foods and unnecessary intake of large quantities of food.

"Hello! I was always towards the chubbier side. I lacked confidence and was in general, unhappy about myself. I started working out, but it made very little difference. Being inspired and impressed by Srividya's posts, I contacted her and signed up for the 6-month weight loss program she offered. Two weeks into the program, I started feeling better about myself, feeling active and energetic through the day (I used to feel tired and lethargic before the program) and I saw my body changing. I felt fantastic about myself and I was comfortable enough to start reporting to her when I went off the mark.

What's best about her is she never gives up on anyone and constantly motivates if we feel low. She follow up very regularly and you are bound to make a difference, when you are accountable. "Thank you so much for all your help rendered in the last 4 months. You are an amazing nutritionist and that can be seen in the way I look now after the program. :) It has been a shocking transformation in my looks and lot of my friends/family have commented that I look like a school girl. :) Srividya had a talk with me initially about my Gastrointestinal problems in July and since then, we started off first with the Elimination diet wherein there was complete elimination initially and then we tested it by adding one item of food everyday to see the reaction in my stomach. This was very effective since we could track the foods that were causing me the problem. The minute I realised that my GI problems were mostky resolved, I signed up to transform, wherein we started focusing on fat loss, eating clean and tracking foods on an everyday basis to understand the kind of foods I need to eat.
Habit transformation was the key factor in this program wherein my food habits changed drastically. I learnt about the importance of protein and consistently included at every meal along with enough portions of carbs, veggies and fats. I learnt the importance of strength training and incorporated 3-4 strength training sessions in a week. Srividya has guided me throughout by answering all my questions and she used to monitor my food intake through meal pictures during every meal.
At the end of this program, I could see that I started looking younger, my skin was looking fresh and clear, my weight reduced by at least 4 kgs and I could fit in to some of my dresses comfortably without any hassles. This made me socially confident in front of people and I felt so motivated to adopt fitness into my life as a daily disciplined routine. I terribly miss Srividya after the program. She has given me a new life with new goals. Will look forward to working with her for future goals.

"My heartfelt gratitude to Mission_stronger of The 8th Element for transformation that I always dreamed of but never really expected to happen. Yes it involves a lot of shift in thinking and hard work but looking back at nearly 4 months that went by where I have gone from 68kgs to sub 62 kgs with about a foot of inch loss. I think what had key roles to play in my success in the order of importance is having the right Nutrition coach, Consistency, Wanting it, Meal planning, Patience, Movement and last but not the least support of family and friends. I still have another two months of coaching left by The 8th Element and I know I will benefit more and that my habit of mindful eating would get cemented better in the remaining weeks with Srividya. I would be a stronger, more positive, confident person and maybe even lose some more inches too. I never realized something as basic as wanting to be in better shape and fitter can eat your mind so bad until this happened. I am in a great space already and anything more is a bonus.
But the biggest achievement, however, is that now I am sure that I will never feel six months of coaching is up and what will I do now. I feel capable of handling my diet and eating habits in as near perfect way as I am handling now in months and years to come and that is what I feel eternally thankful for to The 8th Element. She is the deal peeps.. I can tell this with full confidence because I have had a helluva lot of the crappy experiences with tons of people/institutions who I paid to get help from. I have been to a woman claiming to be a nutritionist and paid big money to be given a ten rupee steel katori to measure my rice and a one size fits all diet chart that started with a 6am - 2 Marie biscuits. I have been to VLCC nearly 15 years ago to be steamed up and starved to lose weight to gain it all back in a matter of 3 months (water loss is all what had happened) and all sorts of random stuff people said and wrote. So I am the true 'been there done it all' person and you can take my word."

"Huge thanks to Srividya. It is solely because of her guidance I was able to undergo this transformation. It was the longest I have ever stuck to a plan, but due to her help I was able to stick to it with complete ease. The guidelines were all easy to remember, and as the food and exercise habits were built one by one, it came naturally. The inches came down drastically, after consistent effort and smart planning. Also, the constant fine-tuning helped with having and sticking to balanced meals. There were new recipe suggestions, and tweaking of the meal pictures that I sent to her. There was a flexibility in planning your meal, and I was able to continue snacking, but in a smarter way totaly free of guilt. The recovery time was also very quick. My body soon became leaner, and my running speed improved tremendously. I also find myself more flexible and having a much improved stamina than before. It also helped a great deal with mental clarity, and overall happiness. Exercising and knowing I was making the right food choices put me in a good mood and made me feel better about myself. It motivated me to adopt fitness and a good diet into my everyday routine. I was even able to run my debut marathon as a result of this. I ran 21 kms in 2 hr 38min, a feat I would never have been able to perform before this program. None of this would have been possible without Srividya and her guidance. The confidence, positivity and motivation given by the coach is the key to success, which she abundantly gave me. I wish Srividya and The 8th Element a huge success."

"What I liked about this program is the rather flexible approach to eating healthy by getting the basics right. It lets us understand that consistency is key. I also appreciate that you constantly monitor and follow up and give the necessary push when needed that keeps us going. Glad and hoping to build on these steps towards a better me. The specifics that helped me are - the directions you provided to address and manage the 4pm - 6pm hunger pangs nutritionally, addressing the in-between meal cravings, how to prepare the previous day, meal prep and also simple things like getting your shoes/clothes ready that helped me tremendously. As they say, the devil is in the details - you have a knack of drilling down to specifics and addressing them. Personally, on your guidance, I understood that small actions when corrected and put on the right course will actually help. As a coach, you have an eye for detail that helped me identify these."

"The nature of my work kept me up till 11pm most days and my work was going for a toss because my energy levels were near zero towards the end of the evening. Because of planned and nutritious intake, I don't feel tired ever, leave alone at 11pm. Srividya gave me so many options to handle my 4pm snack cravings. After working on it for months now, I don't slip, instead I'm ready to deal with it, mindfully. Although initially I went for walks to lose weight, it has now become an integral activity of my routine, not just because it recharges my body, but also clears my mind's clutter, which is the root cause for most things. The 8th Element has done a miraculous job of pushing me towards that, which I wished to do, in so many years, as I approached my 40s, but never took the step to pursue it - 'being healthy'. Looking at Coach Srividya prioritize health over everything, I turned towards her current. And it didn't end there like Whatsapp forwarded messages (no offense meant), but she would ping me even before I got a doubt about how to go about a day. And never has she made me feel guilty for eating inappropriately or exercising less. She just kept throwing her positivity ball for me to catch and play with it in my life, the way I feel like.
